In [[consensual democracy]]
Very different types of [[parlementarisme|parliamentarian regime]], it has nothing to do with [[culture]]. The point is that in some parliamentary [[DÉMOCRATIE|democracies]], **there is division of power[^1] but you don't have the situation where one branch is controlled by another branch**. They controlled each other internally.
[[séparation des pouvoirs|Separation of powers]] but between [[parti politique|parties]]. Several parties control each other at the government level. The [[pouvoir exécutif|executive]] doesn't control the legislative, in each branch, each party controlled each other.
-> le contrôle se fait au sein des branches pour éviter qu'une seule force politique gouverne le pays
-> pas de contrôle inter-branches
How to limit [[conflit|conflicts]] :
- Having a limited number of parliamentarians will affect internal conflicts about the nomination of ministers
- Having unnecessary parties that are with us in the ideological gap can permit to limit internal conflicts, and preserve the [[coalitions in parliamentary regimes|coalition]]
- situation in which the prime minister does not control the parliament = minority government.[^2] It is really difficult to govern in this position.
see the effects of coalitions
[[democracies are more predictable than dictatorships]]
